LookAbout360 Virtual Tours: General Information

LookAbout360 tours consist of the following:

• Standard Tour
  • includes 5 virtual tour images and 6 still images
• Premium Tour
  • includes 5 virtual tour images and 12 still images
• Executive Tour
  • includes up to 10 virtual tour images and up to18 still images
• Slide Show
  • slide show with up to 15 images with captions using only standard "35 mm" type digital images.

Substitution Policy: Depending upon the property, one virtual tour can be replaced with two still images. Additionally, LookAbout360 will never upgrade a job without consent, but we retain the right to downgrade. For example, an Executive Tour would be impossible for a one bedroom condominium that has no common amenities.

The agent or homeowner is responsible for turning on all the lights in the house for the tour and turning them off afterwards. Ceiling fans are to be turned off. As appropriate, curtains and blinds should be closed. Tours that include indoor shots combined with bright exterior light result in either an underexposed interior, overexposed exterior, or simply a poorly exposed tour. We are able to solve this dilemma by combining two differently exposed tours of the same vantage point, but this either reduces the full number of virtual tours by one or increases the cost of the tour by one additional virtual for each extra virtual taken.

If neither agent nor homeowner is present at the time the tour is photographed but access has been previously arranged, and the agent has made no prior requests regarding shot selection, the shots taken will be at the discretion of the photographer. LookAbout360 claims no responsibility for the photographer’s selection of shots except in cases of extreme negligence.

Once a tour is processed, it will be posted to a unique Internet address on the LookAbout360 website. The URL to the tour will be sent to the email address provided to LookAbout360. This URL can be freely used to create a link from your own personal website.

LookAbout360 will process each virtual into a panoramic virtual tour image unless LookAbout360 deems it to the agent’s or homeowner’s best interest to not exhibit a particular image. This may be the result of poor lighting, bad weather, decrepit or unclean room or scene, etc.

For an additional fee, LookAbout360 will create and email a file containing the tour files. This file may be reproduced and emailed to any number of recipients.

A virtual tour will be posted to the LookAbout360 website only upon receiving final payment and upon receiving required information as specified at time of scheduling. This information includes but is not limited to: MLS number, address, a business card for scanning, and a short narrative. Depending on the particular package, it may also require narration copy. LookAbout360 is not responsible for any delays that are the result of missing or incorrect information. LookAbout360 is not responsible for correcting spelling or grammatical errors in text provided by an agent or agent’s representative.

The virtual tour will become inactive after one year or a date specified at purchase, whichever is lesser. The tour can be reactivated at any time and is subject to a re-activation fee. LookAbout360 reserves the right to charge an annual fee (upon client notification) for any tour that is hosted by LookAbout360 for over a year.

All images and media are the sole property of LookAbout360. LookAbout360 reserves all rights to these images, media and content. All images and media are made available to client until the property is sold, listing expires or unless otherwise specified in writing.

LookAbout360 Virtual Tours: Cancellation – No Show Policy

The following events will result in a cancellation or no-show fee:

The agent or homeowner must be present at the scheduled time of the tour (unless otherwise arranged with LookAbout360).

The home must be clean and presentable at the scheduled time of the tour or will be shot “as is.”

The client must provide the valid address of the home at tour purchase.

Any cancellations due to weather except for extreme circumstances such as a flood, fire, earthquake, etc.

A client may reschedule a tour but must do so more than twenty-four hours prior to the originally scheduled time or they will be assessed a cancellation fee.

A client may substitute one home for another home in the same area, but must do so more than four business hours prior to the originally scheduled time or they will be assessed a cancellation fee.

The LookAbout360 photographer will shoot the home as-is. That is, he will not move objects, straighten or dust objects, open or shut windows or doors, etc. The photographer will, however, turn lighting on or off and open or shut blinds if it results in better images.

Once the photographer has photographed a home, the tour may not be cancelled. The client will be charged the full price of the tour.

A tour may be transferred to another account, but the client will be assessed a transfer fee.

If an agent is not happy with the photographs taken of a home, he or she may request a re-shoot within 30 days of ordering the tour. The photographer will come and take pictures of the same home for a nominal "re-shoot fee". After 30 days, the full tour price will be charged.

No Show Fee - $20.00 plus any associated travel fee.

Late Fee - $10.00.  We strive to make our appointments at the scheduled time. We will wait for 30 minutes for a scheduled appointment prior to leaving your site. We will attempt to contact you during this wait. If we’re unable to contact you during this time, and the appointment is cancelled, the “No Show” fee applies. However, if you run later than 30 minutes but do show up for the appointment, an associated Late Fee may be charged.
