Help!
LookAbout360 Virtual Tours are an impressive and easy self-service preview
that saves you time and money by allowing potential buyers and curiosity seekers
an opportunity to see a home or facility before arranging a private showing.
LookAbout360 tours provide an automated “guided” tour as well as providing the
flexibility of allowing the viewer the ability to navigate through the tour
themselves. Savvy buyers and investors often “get a feel” for a property
immediately upon entering, and a LookAbout360 Virtual Tour can assist in
streamlining the search. The Tour itself is created by “stitching” five
fisheye-lens photographs to create a view that not only pans and zooms with
smooth transitional effects all around but up and down as well. Ceilings and
floors are as important as window placement, and wall material and covering!
Adding optional music or narration to your LookAbout360 Virtual Tour enhances
the virtual experience. LookAbout360 Virtual Tours are viewed using a Java-based
applet.
LookAbout360 Virtual Tours are viewed using a Java-based applet. Typical
turnaround for a tour takes about 24 hours. However, more complex tours may take
additional time. Once your tour is complete, you will receive an e-mail with you
LookAbout360 Virtual Tour link(s) that you can add to your MLS, your personal
Web site, and any other listing sites you use.
By adding professional Narration, the LookAbout360 Virtual Tour takes on the
quality of TV commercials giving you the opportunity to make sure prospective
home buyers hear key property features. If Narration is ordered, you will
provide the script for each photo. The script will be professionally recorded
and added to your LookAbout360 Virtual Tour.
Agent Branding (FREE) helps you to build recognition by displaying your
photo, logo, and contact information with the tour for immediate access. Some
MLS’s require that this branding information be absent from the listing and its
virtual tour. For this reason you will always receive the “unbranded” link as
well. REALTOR.com does allow use of the branded tour. Getting the link to
REALTOR.com is your responsibility.
LookAbout360 Virtual Tours grab the attention of buyers longer due to the
viewer’s ability to not only pan and zoom with smooth transitional effects all
around but up and down as well. And music or narration increases the viewers
sensory experience of the Tour.
You will receive a link that you can add to the MLS listing. Some MLS’s
require pre-approval of a virtual tour to ensure unbranded formatting; we
provide both a branded and an unbranded link to your LookAbout360 Virtual Tour.
No - you have to upload the link yourself or submit it to your MLS provider.
Your personal Web site host will assist in placing the LookAbout360 Virtual
Tour.
We don’t link the LookAbout360 Virtual Tour for you, but consult your
REALTOR.com member benefits for assistance.
The Tour is active for one year, unless extended, or until the property is
sold or is no longer on the market. It’s your responsibility to request the Tour
be inactivated early.

You do not have to purchase domain names or sign riders - these are optional
services.
A property-specific domain sets your marketing apart from most others. For
instance, when advertising 1843 Elm Street, isn’t it more professional and
personal to list the domain as www.1843Elm.com rather than simply
www.yourrealestatecompany.com? And your sellers will be especially impressed!
The property-specific Web address doesn’t require a whole new Web site; it can
link directly to our server and your LookAbout360 Virtual Tour or simply right
back to your company domain. (Domain registration depends, of course, on its
availability.)
You may purchase a domain name through any domain registrar. If you have us
purchase a domain name for you, it is for your exclusive use during the time the
LookAbout360 Virtual Tour is active. At the end of the domain’s registration
period, and assuming you’ve not instructed us to renew its use for your Tour, it
becomes available to anyone who registers it at that time. An advantage of
purchasing a domain name from us is that we have direct access to it to upload
your LookAbout360 Virtual Tour or redirect it to point to your personal or
company Web site.
If purchased from us, we take care of all the technical details of parking,
forwarding and masking your domain name so that it operates in conjunction with
the LookAbout360 Virtual Tour or points elsewhere. The domain is the property of
LookAbout360 during the registration period.
Yes. You will need to consult with your Web hosting service provider to point
to your LookAbout360 Virtual Tour.
If you’ve simply paid for a domain that has not been developed into a Web
site, you will need to perform a number of technical administrative tasks at
your existing registrar to "park" your domain, "forward" and "mask" it.
Yes! This is our demonstration site
http://www.707Washington.com.
LookAbout360 Virtual Tours are viewed using a Java-based applet. This is
functional with both PCs and Macs. A Tour is fully downloaded to your computer
before playing, and if you’re on dial-up, have a slow connection or processor,
there can be a delay. And, of course, if your computer doesn’t have Java
installed, the Tour cannot be viewed at all. Whereas the slow speed is addressed
by simply waiting, the absence of Java is addressed by downloading it from the
Internet. And it’s free!
